قال مدير منظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس أدهانوم غيبرييسوس، الأربعاء، إن أكثر من 14,800 مريض في قطاع غزة ما زالوا بحاجة إلى رعاية طبية عاجلة ومنقذة للحياة، وهي غير متوفرة حاليًا في القطاع بسبب الحصار والدمار الذي لحق بالبنية الصحية.
دعوة لإعادة تفعيل مسارات التحويل الطبي ودعا غيبرييسوس، في منشور عبر حسابه على منصة “إكس”، إلى إعادة تفعيل مسارات التحويل الطبي من قطاع غزة إلى الضفة الغربية، بما فيها القدس، قبل فوات الأوان، مؤكدًا أن التأخير في ذلك يهدد حياة آلاف المرضى.
إجلاء أطفال ومرضى إلى الخارج وأوضح أن منظمة الصحة العالمية ساعدت، اليوم، في إجلاء 32 طفلاً و6 مرضى بالغين من غزة، إلى جانب 99 مرافقًا لهم، حيث تم نقل 25 طفلاً و6 بالغين إلى إيطاليا، و5 أطفال إلى بلجيكا، وطفلين آخرين إلى تركيا لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
الوضع الصحي في ظل حرب الإبادة تأتي هذه التصريحات في وقت تواصل فيه قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، بدعم أمريكي مطلق، منذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2023، ارتكاب جرائم إبادة جماعية في غزة، أسفرت عن أكثر من 215 ألف فلسطيني بين شهيد وجريح، معظمهم من الأطفال والنساء، إضافة إلى أكثر من 9 آلاف مفقود، ومئات آلاف النازحين الذين يعيشون في ظروف إنسانية كارثية.
